From Tanks at Civilians: Ukrainian Forces Fired 50 Times at Donbass in 24 Hours

9 DPR residents were injured this week due to shelling by Ukrainian officials and explosions, set up by the operatives. It was announced yesterday by the Republic spokesman Eduard Basurin. Just in the last 24 hours Ukrainian army fired over 50 times. Aleksandr Bilibov is reporting with details from Donbass. A giant hole in the roof is the result of another shelling by the Ukrainian security officials. The missile went through the roof and the ceiling of the second floor of a small dorm in the center of Makeevka. It's a residential suburb of Donetsk. There are several families living in this house, some are with small children. It's a miracle nobody was injured. The rooms on the side of the house, where the missile hit, were empty. Ukrainian army opened fire on the residential area at 6 am. Everybody was still home. I woke up because I heard a loud bang, like from an explosion. It was strong, my door blew open. Everything got smoky, and I had no idea why. I didn't go to the hallway, because I was scared. It was dark, and I thought the building had collapsed. I thought I would fall if I took a step. I started screaming, my neighbors from the other side came out. We knew we had to go outside, so we did. We stood there for awhile, so the shock wore off, then went back in to look around. DPR defense establishment was already on the scene along with Russian officers from the Control and Peace Coordination Center. Judging from the fragment, left from the missile, it was a tank bomb. The flight trajectory allowed to determine that the hit was done by the APU, located by the Opytnoe village. It was unaimed fire. Ukrainian forces were shooting at random, knowing they were shooting at civilians, and here's why. Tanks always shoot straight. Here the trajectory was curved. It means that Ukrainian forces grabbed a gun and fired towards a residential area. They didn't really care where it would land. This often happens in this war. The war's been going on for almost 4 years and this has happened several times before. Today, the Kiev region of Donetsk was also fired at. 1 civilian was injured. He is in the hospital. The doctors say he's stable. According to the data from the DPR defense establishment, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 53 times in 24 hours. They used mortars, tanks, and small arms. 17 residential areas were under fire along the entire contact line. In Gorlovka, which is in the northern part of the Republic, 2 civilians stepped on a mine. One of them is a 12 year-old student. They were hospitalized with multiple fragment wounds. Meanwhile, according to DPR Intel, Ukraine keeps pulling heavy arms and troops to the contact line. This means there will be no peaceful silence from the APU during the May holidays.
